Rotablock

Rotablock is a game that emerged from my prototyped ideas of creating a game for the iPhone. I wanted to gain a better idea of balancing systems in games. Rotablock is a simple gem matching game in which you can rotate the grid which the gems reside in. On top of this you can also slide gems to help form groups.

Platform Chunk Clump

Platform Chunk Clump was created for the forth and final game jam for the University of Adelaide Game Development Club. The theme for this jam was “Two or more players on one input set”. In Platform Chunk Clump, one player uses the keyboard and the other uses the mouse. The mouse player places and removes platforms so that the keyboard player can traverse the levels.

Biggle

Biggle was created for the third game jam by the University of Adelaide Game Development Club. The theme for this jam was “Every letter of the alphabet”. Biggle is a twist on the Boggle formula. It uses a larger sized board and once finding a word these tiles of that word are replaced. The winner is the player who reaches a preset score first.

Leave your Path

Leave your Path was my entry in the second game jam held by the University of Adelaide Game Development Club. The theme for this jam was “Create your own Path”. This was my first attempt at using Box2D which I learnt in the week of the jam. In this game you have to collect the yellow circles which trying to avoid the different shapes as to they push you around. You can also do a push in order to move the objects away.

Everything Shall Come to an End

Everything Shall Come to an End was developed for the first week long Game Jam for the University of Adelaide Games Development Club. The title of this game is the same as the theme. In this game you exist in a circular world and must try to exist between the beginning and the end.

Pollution Solution

Pollution Solution is an educational video game that I worked on as a team member of Fiyawork for the Young Achievers of Autstralia program in 2004. My role with the student based company was the Product Manager. In terms of develop of the game, I was primary involved in programming the game using Actionscript2 and had minor roles as an artist and a voice actor.
